History

Summit Signal, Inc. started in February of 2003 with Pete Mihelcic and his son Danny Mihelcic.  Pete and Danny came from an extensive background of heavy construction, underground utilities, installations, and interconnects.

As Pete and Danny became more involved in the railroad industry, Summit Signal, Inc. became more experienced in many facets of railroad projects.  Summit Signal, Inc. completed smaller projects and moved onto larger projects, naturally progressing into signal maintenance, replacing track panels at grade crossings, upgrading existing grade crossings, and installing brand new grade crossings from start to finish.
